HeartCert CPR is proud to announce that it has partnered with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Minnesota to generously offer FREE American Heart Association CPR and First Aid certification classes. Yes, FREE CPR/AED and First Aid Classes! Courses are currently offered in Roseville MN and Edina MN. There is no catch and no cost for these classroom courses taught by our experienced CPR Instructors. We want to further the goals of the American Heart Association and Blue Cross by creating a healthier, safer and more knowledgeable community base.
CPR, or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, is the act of giving chest compressions and breaths to keep the oxygenated blood flowing to the vital organs for someone in cardiac arrest. This significantly improves the chance of survival in the case of cardiac emergencies. First Aid is training geared toward any emergency that could happen whether it be injury or illness (broken bones, allergic reactions, heart attack, stroke, diabetic emergencies and more). This free training truly could save the life of someone you know. Class is just a few hours long and students will be certified by the AHA in how to perform First Aid or administer CPR for adults, children and infants as well as use an automated defibrillator, or AED.
