Babysitter and child sitter training course

The Red Cross Babysitter Training course is specially designed for young adults looking to become a childcare /babysitting provider, and delivered in an online setting to help participants understand the proper techniques for caring for infants and children, so they can become a more capable, confident babysitter.

Whether you baby/child sit all the time or provide care infrequently, it’s important to keep your wide range of skills fresh and ready for anything. To that end, we’ve created a variety of refresher materials, including quizzes, games, activities and videos that you can use to remember all the information you learned during your Red Cross babysitter training.

After successfully completing your course, you’ll receive a digital certificate that you can print up and place in your portfolio or access online at any time. In addition, your certificate will include a unique ID number and a QR code, which allows potential employers to confirm that your certificate is valid. Babysitter certification from the Red Cross is valid for two years. This online only class does not include CPR certification but upon registration you will receive an option to add this on if needed.
